End of Tenancy Carpet Cleaning in Aylesbury
Not every check-out needs every room doing, and we will say so on the phone. What gets looked at hardest is the route through the house and whatever the tenant actually lived on: the hall, the stairs, the landing and the main lounge. A box room that held a desk for eighteen months rarely needs more than a thorough vacuum, and paying us for it changes nothing.
The arithmetic is worth doing before you book. The hall at £20, the stairs at £35 and the landing at £20 add up to the same £75 the three are priced at as a set, so there is nothing clever to arrange there. Adding the lounge brings it to £115, and the lounge, hall and stairs on their own are £95 where a landing has hard flooring instead of carpet.
The £50 minimum charge covers the visit rather than each room, and that catches people out on small jobs. A single bedroom on its own still comes to £50 when the work in it is £30, so if you only need one room it is worth adding the stairs and getting something for the difference. We point that out when we quote rather than afterwards.

Aylesbury questions
The things people in Aylesbury ask us most often.
Do all the rooms have to be cleaned for a check-out?
No. Concentrate on the hall, stairs, landing and the rooms that were lived in. A little-used bedroom often needs nothing more than a proper vacuum. We would rather tell you that on the telephone than charge for a room that makes no difference.
Is hall, stairs and landing cheaper as a set?
It is £75 for the three, the same as £20, £35 and £20 added up. The saving is in the visit rather than the set, since one appointment covers the lot and nothing is charged for coming out to you in the first place.
I only need one bedroom doing. What will that cost?
The £50 minimum charge, because that covers the visit. A bedroom on its own is £30 of work, so most people put the stairs in for another £35, which brings it to £65 and gets the dirtiest part of the house done. Entirely your choice.
Can you work around an inspection booked for the same morning?
We would rather not cut it that fine. Carpets are touch-dry in a few hours, but a damp pile reads as damp to an inspector. Book us the day before where you can, and tell us the inspection time so we plan the order of rooms.
