Carpet Cleaning in Ingleby Barwick
Merlin's Carpet Cleaning covers Ingleby Barwick and the villages around it — one of the largest private estates in Europe, and a lot of it is family carpet. We are family run with over ten years behind us, our prices are the ones on the list with nothing added afterwards, and every quote is free.
Cleaning carpets in Ingleby Barwick
Ingleby Barwick is unusual. It is one of the largest private housing estates in Europe and almost all of it went up from the 1980s onwards, which means a very consistent kind of job: family houses, three and four bedrooms, carpet on the stairs and landing and through the bedrooms, and a busy lounge.
Busy is the word. This is a young town full of children and pets, and the carpets take a beating — spills on the lounge, muddy paws through the hall, that grey traffic lane worn into the stair treads. None of that is permanent damage. It is soiling held in the pile, and it lifts.
Because the houses are laid out so similarly, we can usually price an Ingleby Barwick job accurately over the phone in a minute. Bedrooms from £30, stairs £35, landing £20, lounge from £40 — add up what you want done and that is the number.

Ingleby Barwick questions
The things people in Ingleby Barwick ask us most often.
We have young children and a dog. Is the cleaning safe for them?
Yes. We use professional solutions applied properly and then rinsed out with hot-water extraction, so very little is left behind in the pile. Keep children and pets off the carpet until it is dry — normally two to four hours — and it is fine after that. If anyone in the house has a particular sensitivity, tell us when you book and we will work around it.
Can you get the traffic lane out of our stairs?
In most cases we get a big improvement. What looks like a dark stripe up the middle of the stairs is usually soil ground into the pile, and that comes out. Where the pile itself has been worn flat by years of use it will look cleaner but the wear will still be there — we will tell you which one you have got before we start.
Do you clean the whole of Ingleby Barwick?
Yes, all of TS17 — Beckfields, Lowfields, Roundhill, Sandgate, Barwick and the rest, plus neighbouring Thornaby, Yarm and Eaglescliffe.
What is the quickest way to get a price?
Use the instant quote calculator on our contact page. Tick off your rooms and furniture and it gives you a running total straight away, then sends the breakdown through to us with your enquiry.
