How do you price a through-lounge rather than a separate room?
On size. A lounge starts at £40 and a dining room at £35, but a single open space front to back is quoted as one area when we see it. Other rooms are price on request precisely so nobody gets a surprise.
Do you cover all the Washington villages?
Yes - NE37 and NE38 right through, including Fatfield, Concord, Columbia, Oxclose, Sulgrave, Biddick, Blackfell, Usworth, Rickleton and Barmston. No travel charge between any of them, and Washington Village and the older streets around it are included as well.
The stairs in our house are boxed in and narrow - can they be done?
Yes, and they are common in housing of this age. Stairs are hand work with a small tool anyway, so a narrow boxed flight is no slower than an open one. £35 for the flight, £20 for the landing.
Can an open-plan floor be cleaned in sections so we can still use it?
We can work one half then the other, yes. Say so when you book. Touch dry is two to four hours, so most people find it easier to give us the whole floor and go out for the morning.
