Carpet Cleaning in Virginia Water
Merlin's Carpet Cleaning covers Virginia Water and the villages around it — large detached houses on the Wentworth side and homes towards Trumps Green. We are family run with over ten years behind us, our prices are the ones on the list with nothing added afterwards, and every quote is free.
Cleaning carpets in Virginia Water
Virginia Water is a different scale of work from most of the places we cover. The houses on the Wentworth side and along the private roads are very large, with reception rooms two or three times the size of an ordinary lounge, wide landings, and staircases that turn more than once on the way up to the top floor.
Our published prices are built around average rooms, so they do not simply scale up here. A lounge from £40 assumes a lounge of a normal size; a forty-foot drawing room is not two lounges and it is certainly not one either. Rooms like that are quoted individually, on the floor, before anything at all is unloaded from the van.
Quoting on the floor is genuinely better for you than a figure plucked out of the air over the phone. We walk the house, list every room, note what is oversized and what is standard, and give you one total. There is no call-out fee for that visit and no obligation at the end of it, and the figure does not change once work starts.

Virginia Water questions
The things people in Virginia Water ask us most often.
How do you price a room that is much bigger than average?
On what it actually is. The £40 lounge price covers an average room; anything substantially larger is measured and quoted on the day, as are knocked-through and double-aspect rooms. The total is agreed before work begins.
Will you come and look at a large house before quoting?
Yes, and there is no charge for it. For anything above four or five rooms it is the sensible way round - a walk through takes twenty minutes and it means the figure you are given is the figure you pay.
Do you cover Wentworth and Trumps Green?
Yes, and Englefield Green, Longcross, Thorpe, Egham, Lyne and Chertsey, and across the boundary to Sunningdale and Windlesham. The whole GU25 area is inside our normal patch, with nothing added for travel or for a quote.
Can you clean several rugs and a suite in the same visit?
Yes, and it is the efficient way to do it. Rugs are from £25 each, a three-seater is £80 and an armchair £35, with the £50 minimum applying to the visit rather than to each item.
