Carpet Cleaning in Towcester
Merlin's Carpet Cleaning covers Towcester and the villages around it — Watling Street town houses, stone lane cottages and newer family homes on the edges. We are family run with over ten years behind us, our prices are the ones on the list with nothing added afterwards, and every quote is free.
Cleaning carpets in Towcester
Towcester is built along Watling Street, so the old part of the town is deep narrow plots facing a road that has carried traffic for the best part of two thousand years. Behind that there are stone cottages in the side lanes and modern family housing on the edges, out towards Silverstone and the villages. The rooms vary enormously in size.
Room size is worth explaining, because our price list works per room rather than per square metre. A lounge is from £40 and a dining room from £35, and those figures assume an ordinary room of its kind. Knock two of them together, or add a large through-room or a conservatory, and it gets priced as what it actually is instead.
We would far rather give you a real figure on the phone than a cheap one that changes when we arrive. Tell us roughly how big the room is, whether it is one space or two, and what furniture is staying where it is, and the quote you get is the price you pay. Other rooms are priced on request for exactly that reason.

Towcester questions
The things people in Towcester ask us most often.
Our lounge and dining room are knocked into one - how do you charge for that?
As one large room rather than two small ones, and you get the figure before we start. It usually comes to less than the £40 and £35 added together, and more than a lounge on its own would be.
What counts as another room on your price list?
Anything that is not a lounge, dining room, bedroom, hall, stairs or landing - a study, a conservatory, a snug, a playroom. Those are priced on request because the sizes vary so widely. The £50 minimum still applies.
Will the price change once you have seen the job?
Not if what you told us on the phone is what we find. We ask about room sizes, furniture and fibre precisely so the quote holds. If something is genuinely different we discuss it before touching anything.
Do you come out to Silverstone and the villages near Towcester?
Yes, all of NN12 - Silverstone, Greens Norton, Blakesley, Tiffield, Shutlanger, Blisworth, Pattishall, Whittlebury, Abthorpe and Wappenham. No travel charge and no call-out fee, however far down the lane you are.
