Farnham is a proper Georgian market town, and it has kept more good period property than almost anywhere else we cover - brick fronts, high ceilings, deep sash windows and staircases that were built long before fitted carpet existed. Winders, turns, a half landing and often a runner with exposed boards either side - all of it is hand work with a small tool rather than a wand, so nothing gets soaked outside the width of the carpet. It takes longer than a straight flight and it is still £35.

We have old floorboards under the carpet - is cleaning safe?
Yes, with care. We keep the water flow low, make extra dry passes and get air moving before we leave, so the carpet is left damp rather than wet and nothing soaks through to the boards.
Can you clean a stair runner with bare wood either side?
That is standard work for us. Stairs are done by hand with a small tool so we can work right up to the edge of the runner without wetting the boards beside it.
Do you cover the villages south of Farnham?
