How do you decide whether a rug can be cleaned at home?
By checking the fibre, the backing and the dyes in a corner that does not show. Wool and most synthetics are fine in place. Viscose and some cottons are not, and we would rather tell you than find out halfway through.
Is Byfleet the same as West Byfleet for your purposes?
They are two separate places and we treat them that way, but both are KT14 and both are in our normal area. The price is the same and there is no travel charge to either.
Can you clean a rug on top of a fitted carpet?
Yes, with a waterproof sheet underneath so nothing goes through to the carpet below. Large rugs are easier on a hard floor, so if there is a kitchen or a conservatory we can work in, say so when you book.
Do you clean sheepskin or hide rugs?
No - those need specialist treatment and hot water extraction is the wrong method for them. Wool, cotton and synthetic rugs are all fine, and we will be straight with you if yours is one we should not touch.
