Cleaning carpets in Andover
Andover has a substantial army presence, with the Army Headquarters at Marlborough Lines on the edge of the town, and a service community spread through the housing around it. March-out cleans are a regular part of our week here, and they are a particular kind of job with a deadline that does not move and an inspection at the end of it.
The inspection is the point. The carpet has to come back to a recorded standard and the date is fixed weeks in advance, so we book these in early and work to the handover rather than to our own convenience. A dated receipt listing every room comes with the job, which is what gets asked for when there is a query afterwards.
Quarters tend to have the same carpet throughout and the same wear pattern: the hall and stairs hammered, bedrooms almost untouched, and one room where a child has done something interesting. Doing a whole house at once is normal here. A hall, stairs, landing, lounge and three bedrooms comes to £205, and you get that figure before anything starts.

Andover questions
The things people in Andover ask us most often.
Can you do a march-out clean on a fixed handover date?
Yes, and the date is the first thing we write down. Book as early as you can, because handover weeks are busy. We work to your date, do the whole house in one visit if needed, and leave a dated receipt listing the rooms.
We are posted in a hurry - how much notice do you need?
A few days is usually enough outside the busy handover periods, and a couple of weeks is safer in summer. Ring either number and we will tell you honestly what is free. We do not promise a slot we cannot keep.
What is the cost for a whole three bedroom house?
Hall £20, stairs £35, landing £20, lounge from £40 and three bedrooms at £30 each comes to £205. A dining room would add £35. The figure is agreed before we start and there is nothing added for travel.
Do you get out to the villages in the Bourne valley?
Yes - St Mary Bourne, Hurstbourne Priors, Upper Clatford, Abbotts Ann, Monxton, Amport, Weyhill, Penton Mewsey, Charlton and Enham Alamein, plus Picket Piece and Ludgershall. SP10 and SP11 both, with no travel charge.
