Often, yes, but be straight with us about how much and how long ago. Urine soaks through to the backing and the underlay, and anything treated only at the surface will smell again as soon as the room warms up.

Should I vacuum before you come?
A quick run over helps, particularly with pets in the house, because loose hair is far better lifted dry than wet. Do not worry if there has been no time - vacuuming is part of the job anyway.
