Yes. Stairs are hand work with a small tool, tread by tread and into the corners, which is the only way a steep or narrow flight gets done properly. A standard flight is £35 however awkward the shape of it is.

Yes, from £25 each. Adding a couple of rugs to a carpet job is a sensible way to use the £50 minimum, since the minimum applies to the visit rather than to each separate item.
