Carpet Cleaning in Little Horwood
Merlin's Carpet Cleaning covers Little Horwood and the villages around it — village cottages, barn conversions and newer family homes. We are family run with over ten years behind us, our prices are the ones on the list with nothing added afterwards, and every quote is free.
Cleaning carpets in Little Horwood
Little Horwood is the quieter of the two Horwoods - a small village of older cottages, farm buildings converted over the years and a scattering of newer family housing along the lanes. Jobs here are very often a carpet and something else, because once we are set up and the minimum charge is covered it makes good sense to have the sofa seen to as well.
Upholstery is priced by the piece rather than by the room. A dining chair seat is £10, or £15 with the back included. An armchair is £35, a footstool £25, a two-seater £50, a three-seater £80, and the larger sofas run up from there to £150 for a six-seater. Nothing about that gets guessed at on the day.
Fabric matters more on furniture than it does on carpet, because the range is much wider and some of it will not take water at all. We check the manufacturer's cleaning code and test a hidden area before anything is applied. Where a piece needs a solvent method rather than extraction, that is what it gets, and where it should not be cleaned we say so.

Little Horwood questions
The things people in Little Horwood ask us most often.
How much to clean a three-seater sofa and two armchairs?
£150 - £80 for the three-seater and £35 for each armchair. If you are having carpet done at the same visit then the minimum charge is already covered, so there is nothing further to add on.
Will my sofa be soaked afterwards?
No. Upholstery is cleaned with far less moisture than carpet and most fabrics are touch dry within a few hours. We check the cleaning code first and use a solvent method on anything that should not take water.
Do you cover Little Horwood and the lanes around it?
Yes - Little Horwood, Great Horwood, Nash, Mursley, Swanbourne, Drayton Parslow, Newton Longville and Winslow are all on our normal round. There is no travel charge to any of them.
Can you do dining chairs and a footstool on their own?
Yes, subject to the £50 minimum for the visit. Dining chairs are £10 for the seat or £15 for seat and back, and a footstool is £25, so six seats and a footstool comes to £85.
