Upholstery Cleaning in Watford
The commonest thing we are called out to fix is a cushion somebody has already had a go at. A cloth and a bottle of carpet shampoo put far more water in than they take out, and as that water dries it travels outwards and carries the soil with it. The soil stops at the edge of the damp patch and leaves a ring.
The fix is to clean the whole panel rather than the mark, so there is no edge left for a ring to form on. Shampoo left in the fabric makes it worse, because detergent is sticky and attracts soil back to the same spot within weeks. Rinsing that residue out is half of what we are doing on a job like this.
Watford gives us a lot of this work because so much of the housing is flats and rented houses across WD17 to WD25, where people deal with a spill themselves and only call somebody when it comes back. There is no judgement in it. Ring us before you reach for a bottle and the job is usually simpler and no dearer.

Watford questions
The things people in Watford ask us most often.
I scrubbed a stain and now there is a ring round it. Can that be fixed?
Usually. The ring is soil carried to the edge of the damp patch as it dried, plus detergent left behind. We rinse the residue out and clean the whole panel so there is no edge for a new ring to sit on.
Should I use a supermarket upholstery cleaner first?
We would rather you did not. Most of them foam, almost none of them rinse, and the residue holds soil so the mark returns darker than before. A damp white cloth and blotting does less harm while you wait for us.
How much is a two-seater and an armchair in Watford?
£85 for the pair at our standard prices, which clears the £50 minimum on its own. A three-seater is £80, a cuddle chair £45 and a footstool £25. There is no travel charge anywhere in the five postcodes.
Can you clean a sofa that will not fit through the door any more?
Yes, because nothing leaves the room. We work where the suite stands, with sheets under the feet and hose run from the van. Flats and upstairs rooms are routine, so tell us the floor when you book.
