Can you clean the stairs in an upper Tyneside flat?
Yes, and they are usually the first thing we do. That stair takes everything walked in off the street. Stairs are £35 and we clean them by hand, tread by tread with a small tool, so the paintwork either side stays dry.
Do you deal with letting agents on student houses?
Regularly. We work to the changeover date, invoice the agent or landlord directly if that suits, and leave a dated receipt. Most student houses here come to a hall, stairs, landing and two or three bedrooms.
Is a flat harder to clean than a house?
Not harder, just more planning. We need the van within a hose run and a stair or lift we can get a wand up. Once we are inside, a flat is often quicker than a house simply because there is less of it.
