Cleaning carpets in Arborfield Green
Arborfield Green is the new housing built on the former garrison land, and it is a completely different place from the old village a short way down the road - hundreds of new houses, new roads, new schools, and carpet that in most cases has never been cleaned since the day it was laid. The two names cause a certain amount of confusion locally, so it is worth saying plainly that we cover both.
There are still service families in and around the area and we do a fair amount of work to that standard, which in practice means the whole house cleaned edge to edge rather than the middle of each room, finished to a date somebody else has set, with a dated receipt at the end of it. That receipt is the part that matters when a property is being handed back and inspected.
New estates have one practical quirk worth mentioning while building carries on nearby. Construction dust travels a great deal further than most people would expect, and it lands in halls first because that is where the front door is. It is pale, it is sharp and it abrades the fibre rather than staining it, so a hall and stairs done twice in the first couple of years is money well spent.

Arborfield Green questions
The things people in Arborfield Green ask us most often.
Is Arborfield Green the same place as Arborfield village?
No - they are separate, a short distance apart. Arborfield Green is the new development on the old garrison land; the village at the crossroads is older and much smaller. We cover both and the prices are identical in either.
Do you clean to a handover inspection standard?
We work that way when it is asked for - the whole house edge to edge rather than the middle of each room, finished to whatever date has been set, with a dated receipt at the end. That receipt is what an inspection usually wants.
There is still building work nearby - should I wait?
Not necessarily, but expect to do the hall and stairs more often while it carries on. Construction dust travels a long way, and it is pale and sharp, so it abrades the fibre as well as showing up on it.
Can a whole house be done in one visit?
Usually. A lounge, hall, stairs, landing and three bedrooms comes to £205 at our standard prices and takes most of a morning. Tell us the room count when you ring and we will give you a firm figure and a realistic time.
