Cleaning carpets in Arborfield
The old village around Arborfield Cross is farmland, lanes and a scatter of older houses, and it is a separate place from the large new development that shares part of its name. It is proper countryside living and the carpets here reflect that honestly. Most households have a dog, and most of those dogs go out into a field or along a bridleway at some point every single day.
Dog soil is not the same as ordinary soil and it needs treating as its own thing. The paws bring in wet mud and field debris, and the coat leaves oils behind on whatever it lies on. Those oils are the reason a dog's spot goes darker and darker while the rest of the room still looks fine - the grease holds soil in place and a vacuum cannot touch it.
Tell us where the dog sleeps when you book the visit. That patch gets a degreasing pre-spray and a longer dwell time rather than the same single pass as the rest of the room, and if there has been an accident on it we want to know that as well, because urine goes down to the backing and treating the surface alone achieves very little.

Arborfield questions
The things people in Arborfield ask us most often.
Can you clean the spot where the dog sleeps?
Yes, and tell us where it is when you book. Coat oils soak into that patch and hold soil in place, so it gets a degreasing pre-spray and a longer dwell time rather than the same pass as the rest of the room.
What about dog accidents on the carpet?
Say so in advance. Urine goes through to the backing and sometimes into the underlay, so treating the surface alone does very little. We need to know roughly how old it is and how much, and we will be straight about what is achievable.
Do you cover Arborfield village and the farms around it?
Yes - Arborfield, Arborfield Cross, Barkham, Farley Hill, Swallowfield, Sindlesham and Shinfield are all in our normal area. The lanes are no obstacle and there is nothing charged for travel. Tell us about the access when you book and we will bring enough hose.
Will the room smell of anything afterwards?
There is a faint clean smell for a few hours and then nothing. We do not use perfumes to cover odours - if something still smells, the source is still in the carpet, and masking it only delays the problem.
