Cleaning carpets in Hatfield
Hatfield has a university in it, and that shapes a lot of our work here. From June onwards we do a steady run of end-of-tenancy cleans in shared houses - six people, one hallway, one staircase and a deposit everybody would like back.
Those jobs have a rule of their own. The carpet needs to be returned in the condition recorded at the start of the tenancy, and a dated professional cleaning receipt is what actually settles the argument. We work to changeover dates, clean edge to edge rather than the middle of the room, and give you the receipt.
The rest of Hatfield is ordinary domestic work - Old Hatfield with its period property up by the church, Birchwood and Ellenbrook with post-war and newer family housing.

Hatfield questions
The things people in Hatfield ask us most often.
Do you do end of tenancy cleans for student houses?
Regularly, and we can work to your changeover date. You get a dated receipt showing the carpets were professionally cleaned, which is the thing deposit schemes actually look for.
How much for a six bedroom student house?
A hall, stairs, landing, lounge and six bedrooms comes to £295 at our standard prices - split six ways that is a good deal less than a deduction arranged by an agent.
Can a landlord charge me for a worn carpet?
Not for normal ageing. Flattened pile in a doorway, mild fading and thinning traffic lanes are fair wear and tear. Stains, burns and dirt are a different matter.
Do you cover Old Hatfield and Birchwood?
Yes, all of AL9 and AL10 including Ellenbrook, Roe Green, Smallford and Welham Green. No travel charge.
